Arisit Pty. Ltd/Sinks Direct Terms & Conditions of Sale
By browsing and/or purchasing from any of Arisit’s website, product listings or in person you agree to the Terms & Conditions that are set out below and the Arisit Direct Returns Policy, constituting a legally binding agreement between Arisit (and any of their products or services supplied through the below channels) and you (the customer) for the supply of products.
The terms and conditions outlined in this document are legally binding for the following websites and channels:
- All products listed by Arisit on eBay (www.ebay.com.au)
- All products supplied through MyDeal (www.mydeal.com.au)
- All products sold in person at Arisit (40-44 Mark Anthony Drive, Dandenong South, VIC 3175)
- Any other applicable sale directly from Arisit to a customer
This agreement is not effective for any of Arisit’s products sold through third-party retail stores (both physically in store or through their online stores) not outlined in 1.2 including but not limited to Harvey Norman, Joyce Mayne, Domayne, E&S Trading, Winning Appliances etc.
This agreement combined with your order constitutes the entire agreement between you (the customer) and Arisit Pty Limited for the supply of product. This agreement cannot be varied unless Arisit agrees to do so in writing or by e-mail.
All orders are subject to approval and rejection. Arisit reserves the right to refuse orders in remote locations due to excessive shipping charges from our typical delivery service. Orders which are rejected due to excessive shipping costs can be redeemed by customers by agreeing to the supplied shipping quote from SinksDirect or arranging delivery by a third party.
Arisit’s products sold through any of the avenues listed in Section 1.2 are subject to change without notice at any time. Once an order has been taken and accepted by Arisit the price cannot be varied unless Arisit agrees to do so in writing or by e-mail.
All listed prices of Arisit’s products do not include shipping and delivery charges which may vary.
3. Product Specifications and Descriptions
Features, descriptions and specifications outlined by Arisit are subject to change without notice. The features, descriptions and specifications listed on a product are agreed to by the customer at the moment of their purchase.
By placing an order with Arisit through any of the avenues outlined in 1.2, the customer enters into an agreement to purchase the product(s) outlined in your order.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check all correspondence regarding the order from Arisit. Arisit accepts no responsibility for delays and additional costs caused by the customer not responding to communication.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address and contact details are supplied to Arisit. The customer agrees that any delays, additional costs or faults due to supplying incorrect information is no fault of Arisit and may incur additional charges.
Arisit reserves the right to decline to enter into a purchase agreement with any customer at any time.
Arisit accepts no responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control that have occurred once the product(s) have been despatched from our warehouse.
Despite our best efforts it is possible that a small number of our products listed may be incorrectly priced. If Arisit has made an error and a product was listed at an incorrect price we reserve the right to contact the customer for them to either cancel the order for a full refund or request the full payment amount for the product.
6. Delivery and Ownership of Goods
Arisit endeavours to ensure that all our products and orders are delivered in a prompt manner. Due to external factors outside of our reasonable control there may be some delays. Arisit accepts no responsibility for the inconvenience or loss suffered as a result of these delays. It is Arisit’s strong recommendation that any bookings for installation or benchtop/cabinetry measurements for our products should only be done once the product is received. We accept no responsibility for the costs associated where bookings or costs have been charged prior to receiving any stock. Any cancelled orders due to this are liable for a restocking fee as outlined in the ‘Customer Returns’ section outlined on this page.
Arisit does not delivery products to PO boxes and reserves the right to cancel orders where a valid residential Australian address is not supplied.
Arisit accepts no responsibility for loss or related damage or faults where customers have given written authority for products to be delivered without a signature. This will void all insurance cover.
Arisit is not directly responsible for the delivery times of our products and make no guarantee of when a product can be delivered. Once a product has been despatched by Arisit it is up to the customer to communicate with the relevant delivery service regarding delivery times and any changes in plans.
All deliveries are completed by non-tailgated vehicles. Customers will need to arrange the unloading of any products from these vehicles on their own behalf. All deliveries are made to street level, loading dock or kerb side. Products will not be delivered up stairs, lifts or ramps. Any deliveries which are unable to be completed for not meeting these requirements will incur an additional fee for re-delivery.
Please enquire for an estimated delivery time. Additional time may be required for items which need to be transferred between different states. Guaranteed dates for final delivery cannot be offered.
7. Faulty, Damaged Products or Missing Goods
Arisit will repair, replace or refund faulty or damaged good in accordance with the relevant Warranty Terms and Conditions and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Arisit to notify of damaged, faulty goods or missing components within 14 days of receiving their product(s) to organise a return. If contact is made outside of this time, Arisit reserves the right to refuse a return, exchange or refund.
8. Factory Seconds Stock
Some Arisit orders from Arisit will be for factory seconds stock. By purchasing factory seconds stock, all customers accept that this stock is not in brand new condition. Arisit endeavours to provide a clear and accurate description of the state of any product sold to the customer where requested by supplying images, videos, descriptions or offering to display product(s) to customers in person. It is ultimately the customer’s responsibility to request this information regarding the condition of the product(s) they are purchasing. Where evidence is not requested or supplied, the customer accepts that minor flaws or defects not effecting the described operation of the product(s) may be present.
Arisit reserves the right to refuse a repair, exchange or refund of an item where a customer wishes to return a factory seconds, ex-display, carton damaged or refurbished item due to a fault, defect or flaw that was outlined prior to the sale.
9. Refunds & Returns
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees provided for by statute including under Australian Consumer Law.
All refunds and partial refunds may take up to 10 business days to be processed from the date of Arisit receiving the stock back.
Your item must be in its original packaging any unused for a return to be accepted. You must retain a return authority form and number from Arisit prior to returning the item and within 14 days of receiving the goods.
To undergo a return, customers must:
- Email firstname.lastname@example.org with details of your purchase including the original receipt.
- Once approved, you will receive a return email with the return authority number
- Return the goods to the specified address in the products original condition
- Follow any other requests as specified by Arisit.
It is the customer’s responsibility to read and be aware of the Arisit Returns Policy
10. Intellectual Property
All material and content listed on any of Arisit’s websites and product listings is the property of Arisit. You may not re-produce, re-use or modify this information unless provided written consent by Arisit.
By placing an order with Arisit through any of the avenues listed in 1.2 you agree that we may store and use data from your order in regards to other products or offers which may be of interest to you. It is the customer’s responsibility to unsubscribe to this information by contacting Arisit directly or using the links provided within the document.

Arisit Returns Policy
The Arisit returns policy does not limit or restrict your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law. A customer is entitled to return any product(s) if there has been an error or problem.
Faulty or Damaged Product Claims
It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Arisit to notify of damaged or faulty goods within 14 days of receiving their product(s) to organise a return. If contact is made outside of this time, Arisit reserves the right to refuse a return, exchange or refund.
Customers must receive an RA (Return Authority) Form from Arisit prior to returning or organising the return of any stock. Product(s) returned without an RA Form will be rejected.
Customers are responsible for the return of items that can easily be posted or returned back to Arisit. You are entitled to receive a refund for any reasonable return postage or transportation costs if the product is approved for an RA and confirmed as faulty. You must supply a receipt of payment within 14 days of Arisit receiving the stock back in order to receive a refund of any return shipping charges.
Returns are accepted in line with our warranty conditions. Where applicable, Arisit may arrange for a service technician to assess and repair the unit before arranging for the return of a product(s).
Evidence through the form of photos or videos may be required prior to Arisit accepting a return. Arisit reserves the right to refuse the return of any product(s) if it deems there is insufficient evidence to confirm whether a product is damaged, faulty or incorrectly described.
Arisit cannot accept returns for scratches and dents after a product is installed or assembled. It is the customer’s responsibility to identify any damage or imperfections that may be present prior to installing or assembling any product(s).
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all accessories, fittings and packaging are included with the return product(s). In cases where parts are missing, Arisit reserves the right to reduce the full refund amount to the customer.
Any futile attempts to collect returned stock will incur a futile collection fee of $50.00 AUD ex. GST when it has been found that the goods were not packed in a safe manner assisting to prevent additional damage or made available for the carrier to collect.
Arisit will not accept any responsibility for any consequential or indirect loss or damage suffered by you as a result of damaged, faulty or rejected good, including but not limited to loss of profits.
All refunds may take up to 10 business days to be processed from the date of Arisit receiving the stock back.
Customer returns include any returns that are at no fault or Arisit. This is including but not limited to customer change of mind or a purchasing error through the fault of the customer.
It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Arisit to notify that they wish to return an item within 14 days of receiving their product(s) to organise a return. If contact is made outside of this time Arisit reserves the right to refuse a return, exchange or refund.
Customers must receive an Return Authority Form (RA Form) from Arisit prior to returning or organising the return of any stock.
The product(s) purchased from Arisit must be returned at the buyer’s expense. Arisit accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage or fault to product(s) during the return process whether directly by the customer or by the delivery service in transit. Arisit reserves the right to offer a reduced refund in the case of product(s) that incur damage, faults or defects during the return process and were not directly caused by Arisit or its agents.
All product(s) including any packaging, tags, accessories, attachments and fittings purchased from Arisit must be returned in the same condition that they were originally received by the customer.
Customer returns are not eligible for the refund of any shipping charges to the customer. If the product(s) was sent with free postage, a 15% postage fee of the total order amount will be deducted from the refund amount.
If transactions are cancelled once the product has been despatched from the Arisit warehouse, customers are liable for any restocking fees relating to additional freight and processing costs as outlined below.
Customer returns will incur a 20% restocking fee (maximum fee of $200) to cover processing and handling charges incurred by Arisit.
Arisit reserves the right to refuse customer returns if any of the above criteria is not met or agreed to.
